Pay per call for AI agents
An AI agent with a wallet can call the API with no account and no API key. It pays for each call in USDC on Base with x402.
A call without a key answers 402 with a quote. The agent signs it and sends the call again. One credit costs 0.0145 USDC, so a company profile costs 0.029 USDC.
A call that returns data costs the full quote. The payment is taken only when the call costs credits: a queued call takes nothing.

Questions
What is a credit?
A credit is the unit you pay with. Every call has a fixed price in credits: a company profile is 2, a verified work e-mail is 2, and each customer row is 2. The price is in the credits table on this page and in the X-Credits-Cost header of every answer.
What costs nothing?
Queued calls, status checks and calls that fail on our side are free. The credits table on this page lists every other free case.
What happens to unused credits?
Plan credits reset each month. Pack credits last 12 months. We use plan credits first, then pack credits, oldest pack first.
Are the limits different on each plan?
No. Every plan and pack has the same limits: 300 requests a minute per key, 10 new companies in progress at once and no limit on API keys. Plans differ only in credits and in the price per credit.
What happens when I run out?
The call answers 402 with the code insufficient_credits, and nothing is charged. Buy a pack or change your plan in the console, and the next call works.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. An upgrade starts at once, and the unused part of your old plan comes off the price. A downgrade starts at your next billing date. Cancel at any time.
Who handles payment and tax?
Monthly plans and credit packs are paid through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Prices do not include tax.
How does the free trial work?
A new account with a work e-mail gets 200 credits for 30 days, once per company. No credit card is required. Trial workspaces have lower limits until the first payment.
Can an AI agent pay without an account?
Yes. An agent with a wallet pays each call in USDC with x402: no account, no API key, no checkout. See Pay per call above.
