Innerfetch API vs Clearbit

Clearbit is now a HubSpot feature and its free tools are gone. Compare it with a company data API you call from any stack, with per-call credits and no seats.

Clearbit was the default company enrichment API for many teams. HubSpot bought it, and its enrichment is now a HubSpot feature called data enrichment. It works inside HubSpot records for paid HubSpot plans. Clearbit retired its free tools on 30 April 2025, and the free Logo API stopped after 8 December 2025.

If your team lives in HubSpot, that can be a good result. If you called Clearbit from your own code, a data warehouse or an AI agent, you now need another API. Innerfetch API is a company data API: send a domain, get the company profile, and add customer, competitor and vendor lists when you need them.

Prices

HubSpot does not sell enrichment per lookup. Its knowledge base says data enrichment uses no HubSpot credits, and the feature needs a paid HubSpot subscription at Starter or higher. So the cost is the HubSpot seat price, not a price per company.

On Innerfetch API, every call has a fixed price in credits, and there is no seat price. You can buy a credit pack with no subscription, and monthly plans lower the price per credit. The table below shows the cost of 1,000 company profiles.

Move your Clearbit calls

  1. Get an API key: sign up with a work e-mail.
  2. Replace each company lookup by domain with one call to /api/v1/company/details.
  3. Map the fields you use. The API reference lists each field.
  4. Send up to 50 domains in one call to /api/v1/company/batch. A domain we cannot find costs nothing.

  -d domain=stripe.com \

Innerfetch API vs Clearbit, answered

Can I still buy Clearbit?

Clearbit's enrichment is now a HubSpot feature called data enrichment, for paid HubSpot plans. Clearbit retired its free tools on 30 April 2025 and its free Logo API in December 2025.

Is there a Clearbit alternative with an API?

Yes. Innerfetch API is a company data API. Send a domain and get industry, headquarters, headcount range, tech stack, executives and more, with per-call credits.

Does Innerfetch API return company logos?

Yes. The company profile has a logo URL when the company shows one.

Should I use both?

Some teams do. HubSpot fills its own records, and our API feeds code, agents and other tools with customer, competitor and vendor lists that HubSpot does not have.
