Innerfetch API vs Proxycurl
Proxycurl shut down on 4 July 2025. What it did, what changed, and how a company data API with per-call credits and no contract can replace its company calls.

Proxycurl was a data API that developers called for company and person profiles. On 4 July 2025 its team shut it down, to comply with a legal settlement that followed a lawsuit filed in January 2025. Its product page now says the service is no longer in service. If your code still calls it, those calls get no data.
This page is for teams that used Proxycurl for company data and need a replacement that works today. Innerfetch API is a company data API: you send a domain and get the profile, the people of the company found on the public web, and the company’s customers, competitors and vendors. Each relationship comes with the public page that shows it.
Prices
Proxycurl sold credits per call. That price list no longer applies, because nothing is sold.
On Innerfetch API, every call has a fixed price in credits. You can buy a credit pack with no subscription, and monthly plans lower the price per credit. The table below shows the cost of 1,000 company profiles. A call that fails on our side is free.
Move your company calls
Proxycurl’s company calls took a profile URL. Our calls take the company’s domain, which most CRMs already store.
- Get an API key: sign up with a work e-mail.
- Replace each company call with one call to
/api/v1/company/details. Send the domain. - Read the new fields. The API reference lists each field.
- For lists, call
/api/v1/company/people,/api/v1/company/customersor/api/v1/company/competitorswith the same domain.
curl -G https://api.innerfetch.com/api/v1/company/details \
-d domain=stripe.com \
-H "X-API-Key: $INNERFETCH_API_KEY"
If we have not seen a company before, the call answers 202 and costs nothing. Call again a little later, or send a callback URL and we tell you when the data is ready.
